This year seems to be a moment of bad luck for some action movies that are doing the filming process. Fatalities were falling one by one in some Hollywood movie set. After the incident an accident that killed the crew in “The Expendables II” and a stuntman in “GI Joe: Retaliation”, now turn to the latest Batman movie, “The Dark Knight Rises”.
After numerous rumors that had circulated, Warner Bros.. Pictures finally confirmed that one of the extras that movie died during the shooting process. But the difference, if the previous victims were killed by accident, the player is “The Dark Knight Rises”, died of a heart attack.
“Studio confirms there extras who died during the shooting last November,” said Warner Bros. representative. “The production team has been working with the authorities to investigate the cause of death and the result was that he died naturally.”
The deaths occurred when the extras play an exercise of mass battle scenes in “The Dark Knight Rises”. Suddenly, a man who withheld his name was having a heart attack. When rushed to the hospital, his life was beyond help.
“The Dark Knight Rises” itself tells of Batman that is getting old and his strength was as good as first. However, he instead faced a very brutal enemy named Bane.
The film was directed director Christopher Nolan with an estimated funding of about $ 250 million (approximately Rp 2.23 trillion). The film is enlivened a number of stars like Christian Bale (Batman), Anne Hathaway (Catwoman), Michael Caine (Alfred Pennyworth), Morgan Freeman (Lucius Fox), Tom Hardy (Bane) and Marion Cotillard (Miranda Tate). “The Dark Knight Rises” is scheduled to be released in July 2012.
